Now that you have explored the sites from above, you should have learned several things about the Pilgrims and thier journey to America. You learned that the trip was long and hard. The Pilgrims spent 66 long days and nights on the Mayflower.
    Now let's pretend. We have found a time machine that is going to take us back to the time of the Mayflower. You are going to pretend that you are a spy sent on a secret mission! You will be sailing on the Mayflower. Your job is to join in with the Pilgrims and observe how they live. Think of some of the things you will see while you are on the Mayflower and when you arrive in the New World. You will draw two pictures, one for each part of your journey. First, you will draw a picture of what it was like sailing on the Mayflower. Where did you sleep? What did you bring with you? How did you spend your time? Then for your second picture draw what you saw when you landed in America. Did you see any Native Americans? Were there a lot of trees? What type of house did you build? 4. Now draw your two pictures. On the left side draw what you think sailing on the Mayflower was like. On the right side draw what you saw in America when you landed.
5. With help from the teacher write a few sentences about your picture.
6. Share your picture with the class.
