Mossy Creek Elementary School is
opening in August 2008, and it is the newest school in the White County School System.
Located in Cleveland, Georgia,
this school is nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian
Mountains. The mascot for Mossy Creek
Elementary School is the
lion.
My name is Beverly J. Mote, and I absolutely love working with students. I have worked in the White County School System for the past seven years, and this will be my first year as a teacher. I am excited about the upcoming year. When I am not in the classroom, my precious daughters keep me busy with cross country meets, basketball games, gymnastics, and cheerleading. I recently graduated from Destiny Bible College with a diploma in Biblical Studies. I also minister as a single's leader at my church, The Rock Of Cleveland. My daughters and I also have two spoiled dachshund dogs who also require a lot of my attention!
This year I will be co-teaching kindergarten through sixth grade. This gives me the opportunity to teach several subject areas including reading, math, science and social studies. This past year I really enjoyed teaching science to my students. One of our favorite places to have fun while learning was BrainPOP!
