Small Classes and Modern Equipment
The freshmen engineering classes at VSU
generally have fewer than 35
students.
Many sophomore and junior level classes
in engineering have less than 15 students.
Therefore, every student gets individual
attention from the instructor. Since January
2005, the engineering program has moved to a
renovated area with state of the art
class rooms,
computer hardware and software, in-focus projectors
and other audio
visual systems, and laboratory
equipments. In courses such as computer aided
design
(CAD), computational physics/engineering,
and other computer related classes, each
student
gets hands on experience during classes, and
individual attention is assured
in all laboratories
and computer classes.
