The engineering transfer program at VSU is linked to Georgia
Tech through
the Regents’ Engineering Transfer Program (RETP). A formal agreement
exists with Georgia Tech so after successful completion of the program at VSU,
engineering students will transfer to Georgia Tech. The courses taken at VSU
are also transferable to other universities. At VSU we offer engineering courses
related to Aerospace, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, and Mechanical
Engineering disciplines. However, students interested in other engineering
fields such as Bioengineering, Chemical, Materials Science and Engineering,
Nuclear, and Textile and Polymer Engineering can also take the core courses
related to the first two years of their field of interest at VSU and then transfer
to Georgia Tech or other universities.
