Welcome students and parents!!  Richmond Hill Elementary School is located in Richmond Hill, Georgia (south Bryan County), near Savannah, Georgia.   At Richmond Hill Elementary School, we continually strive for excellence.  We are honored to have received the Governors’ awards for excellence for statewide achievement testing for the past 4 consecutive years. 

My name is Bobbi Smith, and I am one of two Speech-Language Pathologists at our school.  In addition to providing speech therapy services to our students, I am additionally the Department Chair for special education services on our campus.  It is my goal to facilitate the inclusion of all of our students with disabilities in the general education setting so that they can be successful learners.  I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist in the public school system for the past 16 years.  I received both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Valdosta State University.  I additionally maintain my national accreditation through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.  My special interests are with working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

                                                                                                                              

RHES provides speech therapy services for students in grades 2-3.  Students attending speech therapy focus on remediation of disorders of articulation, voice, fluency, and/or language.  Parents are encouraged to familiarize themselves with their child’s speech therapy goals and objectives and reinforce good communication skills at home.  Resources for improving language, literacy, and communication can be explored on this website: http://www.speechtx.com/
