Does anyone know what rhyming words are? Rhyming
words are words that sound the same especially at the end of the word
like cat and hat. Can anyone tell me some more rhyming
words? Today we are going to learn how to pick out rhyming words
and visit a few places online to find out more about them.

Mission Activity
We are about to go on a treasure
hunt and find all the rhyming words in the nursery rhyme "Hickory
Dickory Dock". We are going to sing a song and then match some
rhyming words. After that we are going to paint a painting on the
computer.
Mission Steps
- Go to Enchanted
Learning and match the rhyming
pictures.
- Listen to the nursery rhyme "Hickory Dickory
Dock."
- Listen to the song "Hickory Dickory Dock" at Sing Along Songs.
- Discuss the rhyming words in "Hickory Dickory
Dock."
- Pick two rhyming words in "Hickory Dickory Dock"
and draw a picture of them.
- Go to Enchanted
Learning and color the picture of
the mouse and the clock.
- Save the picture on a disk to be printed out
later.
