Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see?  I see a student looking at me!  Hey kids, who wants to go on a bear hunt?  Well, that's just what we are going to do.  We are going to learn about all kinds of bears.  Some are real and some are pretend.  Some may be scary but some will be your friend.  So come on in and join the fun, its bears bears bears for everyone!

Do you want to learn and play with The Bear in the Big Blue House?  You'll learn to count and do all kinds of fun things such as use a balance and go on a scavanger hunt for snowbear with bear. Come on in and join the fun!
Do you like to read the Berenstain Bears books?  You can decode messages about bears , find bear books, and even watch clips of the Berenstain Bears. Do you want to read a bok with them? If so you're sure to love the Berenstain Bears website.

Mission Activity
You Have been selected by National Geographic for a very special assignment.  You are now a junior researcher.  Your mission is to research about Polar Bears. Find out where they live, what they eat, and what they look like.  Your assignment is to discover a new type of bear that is now living in the Polar bear community with the other Polar bears.  You get to name the bear, draw the bear, tell where it lives, and tell National Geographic all about it!  We're going on a bear hunt. I'm not afraid, are you?

Mission Steps

  1. You will need to go to the website that tells us all about bears.
  2.  Tell me three facts you learned about bears, such as where they live and what they look like.
  3. Draw me a picture of the bear you have discovered.
  4. Tell me your bear's name, where it lives, and what it eats.
