 Can you name two different types of fires?  Hershey will teach you about different types of fires, safety tips,  and escape rules.
What are two tips you need to know about fire safety? Fire Avenger will teach you what you need to know before a fire starts, what to do if you get burned, and why it is important to have a smoke detector.

 Topic Mini-Research Real World Activity

Pretend you are a firefighter and you are on your way to stop a fire at a house. When you arrive at the house you realize that the family is trapped inside! Draw out four steps that you would need to do in order for you to save the family and help them find each other.  Use theEscaping from Fire website to help you plan out the esacpe route for the house and the useful techniques to help yourself and the family get out safely.

Steps to Complete Real World Activity

1. Go to the Escaping from Fire website.

2. Draw, color, and label four steps that you need to know in order to escape a fire.

3. Once you are done, show the teacher your drawings and explain to her how to escape a fire and what you need to know before a fire even starts.
