Welcome to Adriane
Barnes' Home Page
by: Adriane Barnes
Hi! My name is Adriane
Barnes. My two major loves are children and animals. One of
my most rewarding jobs was working as a Georgia 4-H Program
Assistant, because I was always around children and animals. My
favorite hobby is horseback riding. I own a 17 year old mare,
Chase, who in her younger days used to race professionally.
Another hobby of mine is atttending retriever hunt tests with my
cousin, David Barnes, who owns Cedar
Hill Kennels. And, I am sure that by these colors you
can guess that I am a BIG Seminole fan! My dad played football
so it is the only team that is allowed in the house. Go Noles!!
I am from the big city of Cairo,
Georgia. It is the home of the mighty Syrupmakers!
We are also known for our syrup and pickles. I have always wanted
to see America. My plan is to go on a cross-country trip after I
graduate from college. The
Grand Caynon, Yellowstone
National Park, Nashville, Tennessee (the Country Music Hall
of Fame especially), and the historic sites in the New
England States are the main places I want to visit.
I graduated from Bainbridge
College with my associates degree in Early Childhood
Education. I am currently a junior at Valdosta State University in the Early Childhood and Reading
Education program that has been brought to Abraham Baldwin Agriculture
College. I have really enjoyed this program because it has
allowed me to work as a paraprofessional at Len Lastinger Primary where
I have gotten great experience working in the school setting.
