Topic Mini-Research Real World Activity

 Pretend you are a scientists in the jungle. You have have to find the poisonus plants in the jungle but you do not want to get infected by the plants. Remember the safety tips that you learned and how to protect your self. You want to draw pictures of the plants you see so you can match them with the pictures you have in the lab.
Steps to Complete Real World Activity
  1. Go to Wilderness Survival.
  2.  Have your facts about poisonous plants so you will know what is poisonous and what is not.
  3. Remember to be safe as you go into the jungle.
  4. Make sure you draw two pictures of the plants you see so you can go back to the lab and compare the pictures.
  5. The students will label or dictate to the teacher the plants they identified in the jungle that they have drawn.
