As you can tell, from my website, my favorite season is Spring. I believe this season is my choice because my birthday is on the first day of spring.  I also love the characteristics associated with the spring season such as the blooming of the flowers, sounds of the birds chirping, and the sight of beautiful butterflies.

In life, there are so many things I find enjoyment. Of them, I love spending time with my family.  I have two brothers and I am the only girl. My mom, dad, and brothers have influenced my life significantly. I would not be the person I am today without their guidance and encouragements.  I also love to spend time with my roommates and my close friends . Besides spending time with family and friends , I also have a passion for shopping. A few of my favorite stores to shop at are Express, New York and Company, BeBe, and Charlotte Russe.  Reading magazines, watching television, and learning new things are my hobbies too.

  As a prospective teacher, I am continuously learning. I believe the experiences that I have acquired and the information that I am learning will be vital to my becoming a successful teacher. I will also need help from other sources such as educational websites.  For instance, The Educator's Reference Desk gives links to several educational resources as well as lesson plans categorized by subject and grade level. Illuminations, a website of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics’, makes available activities, links, lesson plans, and the national mathematical standards for schools. Also, Read Write Think, a great website by the National Council of Teachers of English, provides several resources for teachers as well as students including the national English standards for schools, and lesson plans. These few websites have been very beneficial to me as I pursue my career in education.
