say the color not the word

Hi! Welcome to my website. My name is Ashley Burdette. I am twenty-one years old and I come from Moultrie, Ga. Currently, I am attending Valdosta State University. At VSU my major is Early Childhood Education, which is in the Early Childhood & Special Education Department. I am very excited about getting into the classroom to start interacting with children. Teaching has been my dream every since Mrs. Brocks second grade class. Her passion and love for the students as well as her vast knowledge inspired me to become an educator. I love to travel and in December I am going with my boyfriend, John, and his family to England and Portugal. I am looking forward to getting to see different cultures.

One of the things I enjoyed while in high school was playing soccer. Going to the mall, enjoying time with friends and family are my favorite past times. I have an amazing family that is very supportive. I am crazy about the Georgia Bulldawgs. There is nothing better than grilling out and watching a Georgia game with family and friends.

A great website for teachers is called The Teacher's Corner. The website has lesson plans, teacher resources, and many more things to do in the classroom.  Another website is called Funbrain. Funbrain has a ton of games and great ideas for teachers, parents, and students. These sites can be very helpful for beginning teachers.
