    Hello!  My name is Daniele Franklin.  I'm a special educator at Elbert County Comprehensive High School, home of the Blue Devils in Elberton, Georgia.  Elberton is located in Northeast Georgia about 35 miles northeast of Athens.  We are known as the “Granite Capital of the World".

 

    I graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Piedmont College.  I am currently attending Valdosta State University to obtain my Master’s in Special Education.  I have been married for 14 years and have two children, Justin-10 and Dylan-8.  I am also the proud parent of a new miniature Daschund, Minnie Pearl.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.

 
    I teach 9-12 grade functional academics.  I enjoy incorporating art as much as possible into my curriculum.  I also use resources available on the internet to assist in teaching, such as EdHelper and Prongo.  My students employ a variety of learning strategies to fulfill their educational needs.
