red and yellow beachballHey!  My name is Amy Brosemer, and I am a junior at Valdosta State University.  I am in the

I was born in Melbourne, Florida, but grew up mainly in Orlando, home of Disney World  and Universal Studios.  In 1999, I moved to Hahira with my family.  I then graduated from Lowndes High School in 2002.  I have never seen the Smithsonian Museum and would love to visit it along with the rest of Washington, D.C.

Growing up in Florida fueled my love of the ocean.  Most of my summers were spent on the local beaches with my friends and family.  Even after moving to the Valdosta area, my family and I still are often on the water.  When we are not at a beach, we can usually be found on a boat on waterlake wakeboarding, tubing, or skiing.  Last summer we went to Lake Lanier for a week, which is outside of Atlanta, and had a blast!  We not only were able to be on the water, but we also saw the Atlanta Braves play a couple of games!
