Topic Mini-Research Real World Activity

Imagine one of your friends from class is going on his or her first family vacation this summer.  Your friend will be riding in a car to the beach.  He or she will probably be swimming in the sun and riding his or her scooter.   You need to give your friend some safety tips for the vacation.  You will be drawing a picture illustrating different safety tips so your friend can have fun and stay safe!
Steps to Complete Real World Activity

1. On a piece of paper, use crayons or makers to create a picture for your friend.
2. You need to use these websites for bicycle, swimming, traveling, and skin     safety to remind you of some safety tips.
3. Draw four pictures relating to each safety tip you learned about.
4. Be as colorful and creative as you would like!
5. After drawing each picture, make sure that you label that safety tip by describing it with just a few words.
