Greetings,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome all of you to the 2013 Valdosta State University Model United Nations Conference!

The 2013 Conference will be held on Wednesday, February 27. The staff at VSUMUN is excited to welcome back old friends and greet many new ones. We are also pleased to extend an invitation to many new schools which have never participated at VSUMUN this year.

My name is Alexandra Fortes, this is my second year with Model UN at VSU, and I look forward to serving you this year as Secretary General. Our Director General is Natalie Jones, and together our services are available to the fullest extent for each delegation. Our staff, as always, is comprised of capable and experienced students who are willing to go that extra mile to ensure that every attendee at this year’s conference is comfortable and confident.

Our experienced staff is very excited to welcome everyone to Valdosta State University. We hope this conference is both educational and enjoyable. Every year VSUMUN offers our services to all participating teams. Let me once again extend our services this year. We are offering the time and experience of our dedicated staff to you in preparation for the conference. The VSUMUN staff and I will be more than willing to visit any schools that request training sessions. These training sessions can be organized by the faculty advisor and can take place in your classroom. Please avail yourselves of our knowledgeable and helpful staff. It is our hope that we can help you in any way to prepare for February.
