Costume Contest Rules
|
|
1. If a costume has been purchased fully made or is being modeled for
another creator, the wearer may
walk across the stage fashion show
style, but the costume is
ineligible to be judged for placement in the
competition.
2. Please enter the costume
contest seriously. If you are not wearing
a costume, do not enter. T-shirt,
jeans, and a Naruto headband are not
a costume. Carrying a Pokeball
with your street clothes does not make
an original Pokemon trainer
costume. If your costume took less than 30
minutes to assemble, it probably
isn’t contest worthy. Please leave
the competing spots for those who
have worked hard on their costumes.
3. It is Manditory that a
reference picture be provided for all
non-original character costumes.
Providing the appropriate reference
pictures will help the judges to
accurately assess your costume.
4. All naughty bits must be
covered, obviously. Costumes that are
deemed too revealing will not be
allowed in the show.
5. Cosplay Judging will begin at
TBA in the Dogwood Room and is
limited to 50 entries. Line up in
the show will be in the same order
as the original judging/viewing.
Upon being judged you will receive a
number. Keep this number, as it
will help us line you up properly come
time for the show. If you do not
attend the costume judging, you will
not be allowed in the show.
6. If you are in the costume
contest, please arrive at Magnolia Room A
with your number by 6:30pm in
order to be lined up and prepared for the
show.
