Steps for Setting up an Assessment for Extended Time for a Specific Student

  1. Creating the Duplicate Exam
  2. Changing Timing Settings
  3. Adding Selective Release
  4. Making Exam Available (not Hidden)

Creating the Duplicate Exam

  • Build Tab
  • Assessments
  • Create Assessment
  • Enter the Title of the Assessment
  • Under Template, choose Base on an existing assessment
  • Select the assessment from the dropdown menu

Changing Timing Settings

  • Build Tab
  • Assessments
  • Action link icon (down arrow) for specific assessment
  • Edit Properties
  • Adjust Duration, Attempts and Dates Available as appropriate

Adding Selective Release

  • Build Tab
  • Assessments
  • Action link icon (down arrow) for specific assessment

Set Release Criteria

  • Set Release Criteria
  • Add Member Criteria

  • Checkmark each student’s name who should see the assessment (INCLUDE the demo student)
  • Save
  • Save

 

Making Exam Available (not Hidden)

  • Build Tab
  • Assessments
  • Action link icon (down arrow) for specific assessment
  • Show Item

Editing Selective Release

  • Build Tab
  • Assessments
  • Action link icon (down arrow) for the specific assessment you want to edit
  • Set Release Criteria
  • Action link icon (down arrow for the specific criteria you want to edit)
  • Edit

Editing Selective Release

  • Make Changes
  • Save
  • Save

 

Deleting Selective Release

If you as the Demo Student &/or the student cannot see the selectively released assessment once it is made available (not hidden), you may need to remove the existing criteria and start over.

  • Build Tab
  • Assessments
  • Action link icon (down arrow) for the specific assessment
  • Set Release Criteria
  • Action link icon, and delete for one criteria OR select each criteria and select delete all
