How Do I Enroll Members Into My Course?

A new feature in BlackBoard Vista 8 allows instructors to enroll members to their BlazeVIEW course manually. Follow these instructions to perfom this task.

1) Under the Teach tab, select the Grade Book tool under the Instructor Tools.

2) In the Grade Book feature click on the Enroll Members options located in the upper section of the grades table.

3) Then type the user name of member to be enrolled in course. There are three different roles, select the desired role by placing a checkmark next to the role and click the Enroll button. .

  • If you want your Teaching Assistant/ Grad Assistant to have grade book access, and have the ability to build, edit, delete course content please send a request to "blazeview@valdosta.edu". Include the following information
    • Course abbreviation including semester and section designation (Fall 2010 -ENGL-1101-A)
    • Person's name and email address

4) Click save to finish the procedure.

5) If you need to enroll another Instructor in your course, please send an email to "blazeview@valdosta.edu". Include the following information

  • Course abbreviation including semester and section designation (Fall 2010 -ENGL-1101-A)
  • Person's name and email address
  • Do you want this person to be enrolled as ONLY anIinstructor or "Instructor and Section Designer". The Section Designer role allows the user to build, edit, and delete course contet; whereas, the Instructor role allows user to reveiw, grade content, and communicate with students.
