Grade Book Not Displaying or Appears To Be Stuck While Loading

To start with, please know that your Grade Book is not actually gone. You can access the Grade Book from other computers, sometimes even other browsers on the same computer, and the students would still see any released grades. This is merely an issue with the Java getting stuck and failing to load the page.

Here are the 3 things you can do to fix the issue on your computer.

Internet Explorer Firefox

Option 1

in the Grade Book, right-click on blank screen and select “Refresh/Reload”

Option 1

In the Grade Book, right click on blank screen scroll to This Frame, scroll to Reload Frame and left-click

Option 2 – If that doesn’t work try the following:
  1. On Internet Explorer, click Tools, scroll to and click Internet Options.
  2. Under the General tab, under Browsing history, click Delete…
  3. Under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete files
  4. Click Yes
  5. Click Close
  6. Click OK
  7. Restart your browser and try to access the Grade Book again.
 Option 2- Move on to Option 3
Option 3- To fix the JAVA problem:
  1. Click on the Start menu and go to your Control panel.
  2. Find and click on the Java icon; the icon looks like a steaming coffee cup.
  3. Double click/open it.
  4. A new window should appear.
  5. At the bottom of the new window under Temporary Files click Settings…
  6. A new window should appear.
  7. At the bottom of the window, click Delete Files…
  8. Make sure all the boxes are checked (Applications and Trace) Click OK,
  9. Click OK
  10. Click OK
  11. Restart your computer and try to access the Grade Book again.
