Section 6: Java Verification
Step 1:
Download the recommended version of Sun Microsystems Java from our Java page.
Step 2:
If you receive a security warning, click the Run button.
Step 3:
If you receive a User Account Control message, click the Continue button.

Step 4
If the installer tells you that Java has already been installed on your computer, click the No button. Then, skip the remaining steps of Java verification and proceed to Section 7: Sound Settings.
Step 5:
Click the Install > button.
Step 6:
Uncheck the checkbox in front of any Toolbars the Java offers to install.
Then, click the Next > button.
Step 7:
When the install is complete, click the Finish button.
Click the Start button on the bottom left corner of your desktop. Then, click Control Panel.

Step 9:
Click Control Panel Home. Then, click Uninstall a program.

Step 10:
Please be patient as it may take several minutes to populate this list. Look for any versions of Java other than the recommended version.
If you find one, click on the name of the entry. Then, click the Uninstall button. Finally, follow the steps provided by the uninstaller.
Repeat this step until you only have the recommended version installed.
Note: As shown in the screenshot below, some older versions of Java may be listed as J2SE or J2RE.

Step 11:
When you log into BlazeVIEW you will receive a warning message asking for Java to run or asking if you would like to prevent Java from running.
Read the message carefully and make sure you allow Java to run while in BlazeVIEW.
Checking the box "Always trust content from this publisher" will keep the warning from coming up next time and still allows Java to run.
