Dr. Peguesse came to the VSU English Department in 2000, and has enjoyed her teaching, her colleagues,
and the campus culture here very much. She particularly likes working with students one-on-one, which
is what attracted her—since graduate school days--to working with tutors. She directed the VSU Writing
Center for two years, then volunteered to work as interim director for the Student Success Center, which absorbed all the tutoring departments operating for core courses. She’s lived a lot of places like Hawaii
and Turkey (Air Force brat), rescued two dogs from the pound, and makes  seriously delicious Vietnamese
Spring Rolls.
