Ruby Riesinger, Area Director and Business Consultant
Amassing a broad range of experience in the area of economic development, marketing, continuing education, and mass communications, Ruby brings a variety of capabilities to our clients. Riesinger holds a BBA in Economics and an MBA from VSU. Her primary interests lie in marketing, organizational behavior and international management, and retail. Ruby has developed, implemented, and instructed a variety of continuing education programs to serve local business needs. Her past experience also includes creating and executing marketing and advertising plans for many small to medium sized businesses, resulting in increased company profits for the client. In 2006, Riesinger was inducted into several collegiate Honor Societies: Beta Gamma Sigma International (excellence in business academics), Phi Kappa Phi National (inter-disciplinary academic excellence), and Golden Key International Honour Society (honorary community member). Ruby is also a 2006 graduate of the Georgia Academy for Economic Development and a 2008 Leadership Lowndes graduate.
Stan Crance, Program Coordinator
Stan is the Program Coordinator for the VSU Small Business Development Center. He brings to the team a solid background in Management from the Non-Profit and Insurance Industries. Stan received a BBA in Management from the Langdale College of Business at Valdosta State University all while being a member of the VSU Golf Team and plans on earning his MBA in the near future. His primary interests lie in business management and planning. His past experience includes managing successful employees, customer service, organizational design, leadership, event planning, and strategic planning in the non-profit and insurance industries. In 2009, Stan was named Professional of the Year at Special Olympics Georgia. He is a graduate of the Leadership Lowndes Class of 2012 and also serves on the Boys and Girls Club of Valdosta Athletic Advisory Council. He has volunteered his time in a number of community organizations including; Greater Valdosta United Way, American Red Cross, and the Boys and Girls Club of Valdosta.
