Requests for library acquisitions which directly enhance the instructional and/or research mission of the university.

Advisory Committee Members:
Library Affairs Committee of the Faculty Senate recommends to the University Librarian
Pool Processes & Committee Guidelines:
Request Form is completed and forwarded to the Chair of the Library Affairs Committee.
Schedule & Call for Proposals: To be determined annually by the Chair of the Library Affairs Committee (anticipated scheduling in November).
Requesting Funds: Applicants should make requests for acquisitions using the Library Reference and Special Collections Pool Request Form and the Bibliography Excel Form.
Notification of Awards: The University Librarian notifies the requestor.
Prioritization of Requests: The Library Affairs Committee reviews requests and makes recommendations to the University Librarian. The recommendation may include the prioritization of requests.
Award Accountability: The following academic year, the effectiveness of the purchase will be submitted to the Chair of the Library Affairs Committee.
