Carolynn Gaston is the secretary to the Interim Vice President for Business and Finance at Valdosta State University. Prior to her current position, she also served in the VSU family as an Administrative Coordinator for Equal Opportunity Programs and Multicultural Affairs and as an Administrative Secretary to the Director of Special Services, which is currently known as the Access Office for Students with Disabilities. She was also employed for 2 years as a Director for Special Projects for a local business in Valdosta.
Carolynn is a board member of the Valdosta Educators Credit Union, the American Red Cross, and the VSU Theatre Circle. She recently served as a committee member for the VSU Credit Union and the Council on Staff Affairs (COSA).
Her hobbies are creole/cajun cooking, baking, singing and traveling.
