Diversity U 101-Fall 2010
This class assisted members of the campus community in understanding and valuing the effects of cultural diversity in the work place and in the classroom. Everyone is invited to explore the impact of cultural diversity on daily interactions. Through the interactive activities participants:
¨Gain knowledge needed to interact productively in multicultural environments
¨Increase individual awareness of differences and similarities among peers and colleagues and its impact on working relationships
¨Learn skills to increase personal levels of cultural competence
