Organizational Leadership summer schedule 2012

VSU Registration:

  • Early Registration for all Summer sessions: March 26 - April 13. Fee payment deadline May 7 (5 pm).
  • Summer Session I (May term): Regular Registration May 9 - 10. Fee payment deadline May 10. Classes: May 10 - 31.
  • Summer Session II, III: Regular Registration June 4 - 6 (5 pm). Fee payment deadline June 6 (5 pm). Classes Session II, III begin June 6. End Session II: July 24. End Session III: June 27.
  • Summer Session IV: Regular Registration July 2 (7 pm). Fee payment deadline July 3 (5 pm). Classes: July 3 - 24.

eCore Registration: Begins April 1st

The following table lists Summer Term courses which fulfill ORGL requirements and are open for Organizational Leadership majors.

  • Courses are offered via GeorgiaVIEW (Georgia On My Line or GOML) and through VSU BlazeVIEW.
  • New online students should visit the Online Orientation site (Online Education link in the left bar) prior to beginning classes.
  • For GOML students, we recommend students new to the online environment take the GOML "Are You Ready for Online Learning?" assessment by clicking here. The 30-minute exercise helps students identify strategies for improving online success.
  • VSU Core Curriculum courses are available online through eCore which requires a completed online orientation prior to registering for classes.
  • NOTE: Deadlines (registration, class dates, fee payment) for GeorgiaVIEW and eCore classes differ slightly from VSU online classes. Please check schedules for dates through VSU Banner. GOML academic calendar. VSU academic calendar.

    • Common Core courses for the Organizational Leadership major formerly listed as GENS 4200, PHIL 4900, POLS 4700 and GENS 4000 have been replaced with ORGL 3000 Reflective Seminar I: Self as Learner (1 Hr); ORGL 3050 Reflective Seminar II: Self in Context (1 Hr); ORGL 4000 Reflective Seminar III: Self Transformation, Tranforming Self (1 Hr); and ORGL 4690 Organizational Leadership Capstone (3 Hrs).
    • These new ORGL courses were designed for adult learners who are Organizational Leadership majors and will integrate into the curriculum what adults have learned in their work life.  Changes are reflected in the ORGL major checklist and are effective Spring 2012.
