Department of Music Mission Statement
The Department of Music provides a comprehensive and rigorous academic program consistent with the mission of Valdosta State University and the University System of Georgia. The Department pursues quality instruction, artistic performance, dedicated service, and scholarly excellence. The Department prepares students as music professionals who manifest these attributes and will be leaders in their chosen fields.
