Department of Music Audition Information
In addition to university admission requirements, students intending to major in music must audition for the Department of Music. This audition may also be used as a scholarship audition.
Audition Days for the 2012-2013 school year will be held on the below dates. Appointments for auditions on these audition days may be scheduled using the on-line audition form. Auditioning early is encouraged for best scholarship consideration.

Appointments for auditions may be scheduled by contacting the appropriate faculty member for your instrument, or by mailing in an audition form. For auditions, students are required to perform two pieces of contrasting style. Instrumental majors should be prepared to play scales. Piano and voice students should be prepared to perform from memory. When you come to audition you may apply for scholarships listed below. In which case you may fill out a Department of Music scholarship application. You may mail this to us or bring it with you to the audition.
