Spanish 1002 Students taking this course have some background in the Spanish language or at least two semesters of High School Spanish. Native and Heritage Speakers, may register for this course with permission only, after taking the language placement test. |

Welcome to the online course section in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages. The Department of MOdern and classical Languages currently offers a number of courses online that provide a convenient way for students to continue their education in foreign language. The department offers courses in both Spanish, Spanish for Professionals, and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
As of March 2011, the department offers the required courses for the Certificate in TESOL and the Spanish for Professionals Certificate exclusively online.
