Odum Library along with VSU's Information Technology Division, eLearning, and the Media Center, all provide computer facilities for faculty, staff and student use in the building.  Connected to a high-speed laser printers, over 200 public workstations are available in the Computer Labs for word processing, accessing Windows Live Email, BlazeView, Registration (Banner), utilizing Odum Library resources and services, and general web searching.  

If you have a laptop computer with a wireless card, VSU HallNet Wi-Fi network access is available throughout the building.  If you don't own a laptop, that is just one example of the variety of equipment that can be borrowed at the Media Center.  Laptops may be plugged into inconspicuous furniture built-in electrical outlets available in the Café seating area and in tables outside of the Café on the first and second floors.  Many of the study carrels and several group study rooms on 1st floor have power outlets as well, so you don't have to worry about running out of juice while writing your paper.

The Library is a great place for studying (individual or group zones), hanging out at the Internet and Blazing Brew, seeking assignment help at the Reference or Circulation Desks, requesting technical support at the IT Helpdesk, and obtaining equipment such as digital cameras, and etc. and staff aid from the Media Center.  Located on the first floor, the Media Center provides specialized tools and equipment for working with digital media and has a small practice room that can be reserved and utilized for polishing a visual presentation. Color printing, poster printing, and video editing, are are among some of the services to be found in the Media CenterContact the Media Center to utilize the Presentation Room that is a 20 seat capacity theater space equipped with a 1500 lumen LCD projector, DVD/VHS playback decks, 5 -1 surround sound speaker system as well as a small lectern desk with laptop connection.

Faculty and staff can meet in the HUB with spaces for video web conferencing, a laboratory equipped with four specialized workstations to facilitate sophisticated courseware creation, and for the monthly Brown Bag sessions.  Adjacent to the HUB, is eLearning with staff offering WebCT Vista assistance and support.

Library study rooms are available on a "first-come, first serve" on the first and third floors of the library .
