Interlibrary Loan allows you to request articles, books, and other materials from other libraries. You can use ILLiad, our online interlibrary loan system, to get articles in 2-5 days, or books in 2 weeks.

VSU and the GALILEO initiative do not provide access to any audio databases at this time. Here are a few freely-available audio resources that may help you in your research:
- The Internet Archive: Old Time Radio
- Contains full-audio recording collections of old radio programs, including Sherlock Holmes, Gunsmoke, Dimension X, and
CBS Radio Mystery Theater.
- Allmusic (formerly All Music Guide)
- Extensive database of recorded music and musicians. Contains many audio samples along with reviews, discographies, and biographies. Contains advertisements.
- Library of Congress American Memory: Sound Recordings
- Digital collections from the Library of Congress of American sound recordings, including narratives from former slaves, regional folk music, Civil War era band music, and Native American traditional music.

- The GIL Universal Catalog allows you to search for library books across the University System of Georgia. GIL Express allows you to have those books delivered to any USG library within 2-5 days.

- WorldCat is a catalog for library holdings throughout the world. You can search for a particular book, video, or audio recording here and find detailed information about it, which you can then use for Interlibrary Loan (ILL) forms. While using this FirstSearch version of WorldCat, you can click on the "Find It" button within a record to send WorldCat information to our ILL system automatically.
