Cataloging - Writing Call Numbers in Children's Books

As of August 2002, we will not write call numbers on the back of the title page on children's books.

We will instead write the call number (or place a printed label) inside the back cover:

Many children's books are purchased because they have won awards for their illustrations, and this procedure will help us avoid defacing any artwork appearing in the book.
