Economics as a Double Major
If you are trying to decide between majoring in economics or another business major, you do not have to make a choice. By using the required courses of one major as the electives of the other major, you may earn both degree majors by taking only a few additional courses beyond the 120 semester hours for one degree.
Example of Economics and Finance Progression of Courses*
- In addition to the Senior College Core and the non-business electives, you will need two ECON electives, two FIN electives and one ACCT elective. FIN 4520 will count as one of your ECON electives.
