Dr. Tim Komarek
Assistant Professor of Economics
Dr. Komarek joined the Marketing and Economics faculty of the Langdale College of Business at Valdosta State University in the fall of 2012. He has a B.A. (Calvin College, 2006), an MS (Michigan State University, 2010), and a PhD. (Michigan State University, 2012). While finishing his PhD Dr. Komarek taught at Alma College. At VSU, Dr. Komarek teaches Principles of Microeconomics and Urban and Regional Economics. His research interests include local labor markets, applied and spatial econometrics and forecasting.
