Management and international business
The Department of Management and International Business offers the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in international business and the BBA with a major in management. The department also offers certificate programs in Human Resources Management and Healthcare Administration as well as courses in the Master of Business Administration program and the WebMBA.
The department's primary research emphasis is on applied management and international business research and instructional improvement. Research is focused on development of the region, instruction, faculty, and the management disciplines.
Service activities include management and organization development and consulting, especially through the Center for Business & Economic Research. Service to the profession and participation in the Valdosta State University and South Georgia communities are encouraged.
