The Division of Information Technology participates in
The Happening
IT participated in the “The Happening” on Thursday, September 3 from 1:00-4:00 pm. The Happening is a student event designed for area businesses, community groups, VSU departments, student groups and campus organizations to set up booths to talk to students about their services.
Staff representatives explained IT assistance available to VSU students and students asked questions regarding any IT service.
Over 230 students stopped by the booth and filled out a short survey indicating if they owned a computer and what type it was. This also put them in a drawing for our promotional giveaways.
Rebecca (Megan) Holder was the lucky recipient of the i-Pod Touch. Twelve other students were selected to receive V-State polo shirts.
Students also received free retractable ID badge holders and stress balls.
