HTML Editors
To make your website as a novice you should get a HTML editor. Feel free to try any HTML editor you locate. Just be aware that installing free software sometimes runs the risk installing third-party software of which you may not be aware.
- Bluefish - Bluefish is a powerful editor targeted towards programmers and webdesigners, with many options to write websites, scripts and programming code. Bluefish runs on most POSIX compatible operating systems including Linux, FreeBSD, MacOS-X, OpenBSD and Solaris. Running on Windows is possible but less supported.
- Nvu - Nvu (pronounced N-view, for a "new view") is a complete Web Authoring System that combines web file management and easy-to-use WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) web page editing. Nvu is designed to be extremely easy to use, making it ideal for non-technical computer users who want to create an attractive, professional-looking web site without needing to know HTML or web coding. There are versions of Nvu for Windows, Mac and Linux.
Also there are expensive HTML editors.
- Expression Web Microsoft's new web developer.
- Adobe Dreamweaver Includes a web site manager, ability to see both source code and browser view simultaneously, and an extension community for added features.
