This is a basic, robust counter available to anyone maintaining a web site at VSU.

Why Should you use this one?

easy and automatic -- just write some HTML, no files to install
versatile -- try different styles and display date and time
accurate -- resists bumbing up the counter from the same machine
local -- not dependant on remote servers and networks

Simple Install

Use the following HTML:

Where you see userid00 above, substitute your unique identifier. If you use the name of the site after valdosta.edu, then we can easily identify your data file.

While you can activate these counters automatically and easily, be sure to email webservices@valdosta.edu and advise of your use and desire to retain. Otherwise, they may get deleted.
