What is the password to my web site?

For Mypages websites on mypages.valdosta.edu

You will need to use your Active Directory username and password. If you have forgotten you password, you can go to the Active Directory site and use the Active Directory website and follow the link to the Self-Service Password reset tool.

For Personal Web Sites on www.valdosta.edu

You will need to contact the VSU IT Helpdesk to get your password reset. There are three ways to contact the IT Helpdesk:

  1. Visit the IT Helpdesk in Odum Library.

  2. Submit the Password reset form.

  3. Call the IT Helpdesk at 229-345-4357

For Personal Web Sites on other web servers

Contact webservices@valdosta.edu the name of the server, account, and location attempting to access. The inquiry will directed to those managing that server.

For Department or Organization Web Sites

The ability to edit the content of a web site is assigned to specific users as requested by use of the Department or Organization New Site or Change Web Site Technician forms. No multi-user accounts are created. Multiple accounts can be assigned to work on the same web site.

If the account owners do not know the password those accounts, then use the same mechanisms above depending on where the web site is located.
