Microsoft Office 2007 tutoring available:
IT has worked with the Student Success Center to train their graduate assistants and tutors in Office 2007 and WebCT. If you know of a student who is struggling with either of these programs please have them contact Susan Jones, in the Student Success Center, at ext. 7570 or e-mail her at sljones@valdosta.edu. She will ensure the student receives appropriate individual tutoring.
Microsoft Office 2007 Interactive Reference Guides:
The Office 2007 Interactive Reference Guides can be utilized to navigate the 2007 Ribbon. To place the guides as an icon on your desktop:
Step 1: Click on the Start Button on your desktop. Point to All Programs:
Step 2: Point to Office 2007 Interactive Guides option and with your left mouse button held down, drag to your desktop:
Step 3: Double-click the Office 2007 Interactive Guides to access the Interactive Reference Guides:
Step 4: Icons for Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word Guides will be displayed:
Step 5: Double-click the appropriate Icon and click the Start Button to display the 2003 screen:
Step 6: Click on the function you are looking for from the 2003 screen:

The 2007 screen overlays and shows where the function is located on the 2007 Ribbon. To repeat, click anywhere on the page and the 2003 screen appears again.
