New Information technology employees
Four new employees have been hired in Information Technology to assist in the support of VSU faculty, staff and students.
Wade Bugby is the new Inventory Control Manager in Client Support Services. Wade is responsible for the inventory of all VSU technology as well as software installs and licensing. Wade is currently a CIS major at VSU. He is also pursuing a minor in CS.
Mykhael Walker has been hired as Desktop Computer Services Specialist within Client Support Services. His responsibilities include supporting faculty and staff desktop computer installation and troubleshooting. He will also supervisor and train IT student technicians.
Mykhael graduated from VSU with a CIS degree. He started in IT as a student technician, then lead technician. After graduation he worked as a Systems Operator in Math/CS where he was responsible for computer lab maintenance. Mykhael will be working from 10:00 am - 7:30 pm M, T, W and TH and Sundays from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm to assist with off-hour coverage.

Jessie Whitten is also working in Client Support Services as Classroom Computer Services Specialist. Jessie will be responsible for the installation and support of smart classrooms and computer labs. She will also be training and supervising IT student technicians. She began in IT as a student assistant as well. Jessie has a Bachelors in General Studies from VSU. She will be working from 11:00 am - 9:00 pm M-TH and 11:00 am - 3:00 pm on Friday to support off-hour coverage.
Dwayne Trouille will be working in Enterprise Infrastructure Systems as Systems Services Associate and VSU Webmaster. Dwayne's focus will be on all web resources. He comes to IT from the Education Technology Center where he was tech. support and training specialist. Dwayne is currently a VSU student in the Technology Trade and Industry Education area.
