REGENTS TEST
NEW POLICY: Valdosta State University’s request for an exemption to the Regents’ Testing Policy has been approved by the Board of Regents. As a result, Spring 2011 will be the final semester that the Regents’ Test will be offered at VSU. By Fall 2011, VSU will have established new processes by which a passing grade in English 1102 will be an accepted alternative to the Regents’ Test. During Spring 2011, those students registered for both the test (RGTR 0196 and/or RGTE 0197) as well as the Regents’ Preparatory classes (RGTR 0198 and/or RGTE 0199) should continue to proceed as normal. Full guidelines on the new exemption will be available later in the spring semester.
