I chose to study at VSU because of a beautiful campus, the support from International Student Office, and a student friendly faculty. My favorite campus activity is the International Extravaganza during Azalea Festival. |

My name is Caio Avelino and I am from Brazil. I study business here at VSU. Actually, I come from a program called GRSP and my program sent me here. I couldn't have been sent to a better place. Valdosta State is awesome and teachers are very supportive and helpful. We also get all the support from the CIP office. I like to be involved in all the international activities cause it is a great opportunity to get in touch with people from all over the world. SIS is a society that gets the international students together and promotes fun activities. I enjoy that. |

My name is Nilufar Saidova and I am from Uzbekistan. I study Economics and Accounting. My program IREX sent me to study at VSU. I was attracted by the beautiful campus and people here are so nice. I like the teaching style of the professors at VSU and the individual help they provide to the students. I enjoy the close relationship international students have in the Valdosta Community. Participating in the homecoming activities was a lot of fun. I had a great time. I made lots of friends. I am really enjoying my studies over here. |
