EVENT CALENDAR

August 10th, Colloquium- Check-in by 11:30am in the UC lobby

Incoming freshmen will discuss the summer reading book, "Imagine" by Jonah Lehrer. This will also be your opportunity to join HSA, sign up for Haunted House, and win great door prizes! Learn more here.

August 13th, First Day of Classes

August 16th, First HSA Meeting- 8pm at the Honors House

Want to know what HSA is really all about? Come to our first meeting! This is an opportunity to pay dues, meet with your fellow Honors Students, as well as learn about upcoming events.

August 20th, International Potluck- 7pm at the Honors House

Join us for an international potluck dinner as we welcome our convocation speaker Brett Brewer! This dinner will consist of dishes from all over the world, made by Dr. Nikolova and the students! Dinner will begin at 7pm and end by 8pm.

August 21st, Honors Convocation- 7pm in the UC Magnolia Room

This is a mandatory event for all Honors Students. Our Keynote Speaker will be Brett Brewer, the first President of HSA.

August 23rd, The Happening- 1pm - 4pm on the Front Lawn

This annual VSU tradition is a fun and exciting way to spread the word about Honors volunteer to work at our booth, or simply come by and enjoy the festivities!

August 29th, Trivia Night- 7pm - 10pm at the Honors House

Our first social event of the semester! Enjoy good food and good people as we play trivia games! Come join in the fun of this Honors Tradition.
