Disconnecting from Hallnet
Symptoms:
If you attempt to log in with a device, and receive an error message stating that you are already logged in.
This means that users with multiple devices, such as a computer and an iPod touch, will have to disconnect with one device before connecting with another.
Please note that sometimes, simply turning the device off will not disconnect you properly. In order to properly disconnect a device from Hallnet:
Step 1:
On the device you wish to disconnect from Hallnet, type bluemoon.valdosta.edu into the address bar. Then, press Enter key on your keyboard or the Go button in your web browser.
Step 2:
The VSU Hallnet User Login page should appear. Click the Logout button on the bottom right.
Step 3:
You will receive a confirmation message saying that you have successfully logged out.
Congratulations! You have successfully disconnected a device from Hallnet. If this does not correct the issue, please contact the VSU IT Helpdesk at helpdesk@valdosta.edu or at 229-245-4357. Please note that our work request system can only accept emails sent from a VSU email address.
