Updating Windows 7

Step 1:

Click on the Start button.

Step 2:

Click on All Programs.

Click on All Programs

 

Step 3:

Select Windows Update.

Click on Windows Update

Step 4:

Now, you may check for updates by clicking Check for updates.

Click check for updates

 

Step 5:

Next, you may view a list of possible updates to download and install by clicking either important upgrades are available, or optional updates are available.

Switch between Important Updates and Optional updates

 

Step 6:

You may now select the updates you wish to install. You may do this by making sure that any updates you want installed are checked, and any that you do not want are unchecked. Then click OK.

Select updates, click ok

 

Step 7:

Now, click on Install Updates and allow your computer to download and install your updates.

Click Install Updates

 

Step 8:

Finally, when the installations have finished you may be prompted to restart your computer. Do this by clicking the Restart now button.

Click Restart now
