Disabling the Autoplay Feature in Windows Vista
Step 1:Press the Window and R key together to bring up the Run window.
Step 2:Type gpedit.msc in the Open: box and click OK.
Step 3:Double-click Computer Configuration.
Step 4:Now, double-click Administrative Templates.
Step 5:Next double-click Windows Components.
Step 6:Now, double-click AutoPlay Policies.
Step 7:Next, double-click Turn off Autoplay.
Step 8:In order to disable Autoplay, click the Enabled radio button, you may then choose if you want to disable it for all drives, or just specific ones.
Step 9:Click OK.
