Enabling or Disabling the Windows Firewall
Step 1Click on the Start button. Then, click Control Panel.
Step 2From the Control Panel, double-click Windows Firewall. If you do not see Windows Firewall, click the Classic View link in the left window. Step 3Click the Change Settings button.
Step 4Click the radio button in front of either On (recommended) or Off (not recommended) to enable or disable the firewall. Then, click the OK button.
