Switching the Mouse Control
While using VMWare Fusion, your mouse and keyboard cannot function in Mac OS X or Windows simulatenously.
In terms of symptoms, you will notice that your pointer will move when you move the mouse, but will not be able to move beyond the borders of the virtual machine.
To switch between them controlling each operating system, press the Control and Command keys on your keyboard at the same time.
Displaying the the Virtual Machine in Fullscreen Mode
You can also enlarge the virtual machine so that Windows displays in fullscreen mode. This means that you will see Windows only, rather than both Windows and Mac OS X at the same time.
To start or stop fullscreen mode, hold the Control and Command keys on your keyboard at the same time. While doing so, press the Enter key.
Minimizing the Virtual Machine
In addition, you can minimize the virtual machine in order to allow Mac OS X to display in fullscreen mode. This means that you will see Mac OS X only, rather than both Windows and Mac OS X at the same time.
In order to minimize the virtual machine, click on the circular yellow button on the top-left corner of the virtual machine.
This will shrink the virtual machine so that it only appears as an icon on the right of your dock. In order to make the virtual machine visible again, click on this icon.
